Enjoy our heated, salt-water pool year-round. Located between our historic hotel and Los Portales, our beautifully designed pool with a cascading water feature is stocked with plush towels and comfortable lounge chairs, shade umbrellas Grab a fluffy towel and lounge under the big West Texas sun. It’s the perfect place to gather, relax and enjoy the sun-filled beautiful desert mountain weather. And in the summer, don’t miss the poolside bar on weekends!

If weather permits, the Gage pool is open for hotel guests daily 8:00 am – 10:00 pm.

Gage Gardens

Sprawling across 27-acres of lush greens, the Gage Gardens encompass a native landscaped garden park with lovely ponds, beautiful fountains, a nine-hole putting green, rose garden, vineyard, fruit orchard, and a large fire pit with banquette seating.

Guests can meander around the quarter-mile walking trail through the meticulously landscaped garden or take the more challenging one mile jogging loop with interval exercise stations. Blooming with colorful indigenous plants that flourish year round, the garden is a welcome home for migrating birds and butterflies, and provides the ideal spot for a relaxing walk with your partner or dog, an afternoon picnic, or an idyllic wedding.

Make memories at the end of the day by cozying up to one of our many fire pits dotted throughout the property. Located in the Dance Court, La Kiva Courtyard and the Gage Gardens fire pits can be lit upon request. Don’t forget to ask for a S’more kit too.
