Due to the historic nature of the Gage hotel and surrounding properties, we ask that all of our guests review our hotel policies before staying with us.
The Gage Hotel's
Check-in time is 3:00pm
Check-out time is 11:00am. Guests will be charged a late check out fee after 11:00pm of $50. If guests have not checked-out after 12:00pm, they will automatically be charged for an additional night of full room & tax.
No lifeguard is on duty and children must be accompanied by an adult. Salt water chlorination, towels are provided, and pool access is limited to registered Gage Hotel guests only. TABC law restricts guests from bringing/consuming alcohol in the pool patio that is not purchased through the Gage Hotel.
The Gage Hotel is an all-inclusive event venue and the Gage Gardens, Captain Shepard House, casitas and other Gage Properties, Inc venues require coordination of event staff. Non-approved events such as elopements will be subject to a $500 fee.
WIFI is complimentary to all guests. The network is Gage Hotel Guest and does not require a password.
The Gage Hotel is smoke-free. Smoking is allowed in designated areas throughout Gage Hotel property. If evidence of smoking is detected in a guest’s room, we will charge an additional fee of $250 (plus taxes) to the guest to cover cleaning.
The Gage Hotel is pet friendly in select rooms. Service animals are welcome. We follow the ADA’s definition of Service Animal: an animal specifically trained to perform a task for a disabled person. Disabilities include physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual or other mental disabilities. Please note: Emotional Support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not considered service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA.
Guests staying at the Gage may photograph freely throughout the hotel, however professional photographers and staged photo shoots of any kind are prohibited unless approved by the Gage Event Director. Scheduled elopement clients can only take wedding photos at the Gage Gardens.
