Check-in time is after 3:30pm and check-out is 11:00am.

We welcome pets in the Los Portales rooms as well as the Wilson House, Casa Jardin, and Celaya House casitas for a $50 fee per pet, per stay.

The entrance to Big Bend is approximately 40 miles from the Gage. Plan on a 45-minute drive there and then an additional 30 minutes to the Panther Junction Visitor Center.

We can add a rollaway bed to our casitas and a few Los Portales rooms for an additional cost per night.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available across the property, with network names that may vary by building.

Yes, our rooms are smoke free, but there are designated smoking areas outside.

Our pool is open year-round and maintained at a comfortable 80°F. While it is not a hot pool, guests can enjoy a refreshing swim year-round. We are also excited to share that our new hot tub is available poolside.

At the Gage, guests can enjoy a variety of on-site dining options. The 12 Gage Restaurant is open 7 days a week for dinner, while the V6 Café serves breakfast and lunch daily. On weekends, guests can also dine at Brick Vault BBQ & Brewery and GhostFire Pizza. In addition, the White Buffalo Bar is open 7 days a week in the evenings, offering the perfect place to relax and unwind.

The 12 Gage Restaurant is the only dining experience that we ask our guests to make reservations for. Open 7 days a week from  6 – 9 pm.

We do not offer room service, however we do offer take-out options and plenty of patio and outdoor dinning options.

We do have rooms for handicapped guests, please let one of our front desk clerks know before you book with us.

Room reservations must be cancelled 5 days prior to arrival to avoid a one-night stay fee plus tax. Reservations booked during a holiday week, or a special event, must be cancelled 14 days prior to arrival to avoid a one-night stay fee plus tax.

Guests are welcome to take photographs at the Gage and Gage Gardens, however professional photography must be approved by the Event Director. Photo shoots for graduation, family photos, engagements, weddings or any other use of professional photography is subject to a site fee and must be pre approved.

The Midland International Airport is 2 hours and 30 minutes from the Gage Hotel.

Yes, we offer a certified Tesla charging station exclusively for our hotel guests. Please note that adapters for non-Tesla vehicles are not provided, so we kindly ask that you bring your own if needed. We are happy to assist with charging issues as needed; however, the Gage Resort is not responsible for vehicle compatibility, adapter requirements, or a vehicle’s inability to charge or maintain battery life.

The closest large grocery store is about 30 minutes away in Alpine. Marathon has a small market called The French Grocer which carries fresh and frozen foods, snacks, beer/wine, and gifts.
