Viva Big Bend | Gage Hotel
Viva Big Bend showcases the best of the state: extraordinary natural beauty, remarkable and talented people, an independent spirit and an amazing culture. Approximately 55 musicians are expected to be showcased in at least 10 venues this year in Alpine, Fort Davis, Marathon and Marfa. Gage Hotel will have three separate performers on July 28 beginning at 12:15p.m., including The O’s, Harvest Thieves and Mike and the Moonpies. On Saturday, July 29, Gage Hotel will feature Chubby Knuckle Choir starting at 6:30p.m.

90th Anniversary Celebration | Gage Gardens
Join us in celebrating the Gage Hotel’s 90th Anniversary. The party will feature speakers, including renowned preservationist and Gage Hotel owner, JP Bryan, a presentation by the Trost Society, and a special dinner in the Gage Gardens by Tom Perini of Perini Ranch Steakhouse and live music by Craig Carter Band. Wayne Mueller | Grilling at the Gage
A third-generation owner/pit master of the James Beard award-winning restaurant Louie Mueller Barbecue, Wayne Mueller, will venture from Taylor to Marathon for the 2017’s final Grilling at the Gage culinary series. Mueller will curate a menu featuring his award-winning specialties, served with wine and live music by singer-songwriter Tim Griffith. Tom Griffith | 12 Gage Restaurant
Tom Griffith is a singer-songwriter originating from San Antonio. His songs consist of themes with compelling lyrics that cover relationships, social struggles, and political satire. His repertoire also includes many classics from the 50’s through the 90’s. Tom’s arrangements are a blend of Americana, Blues, and Jazz and are shaped by his captivating vocals and melodic finger-picking.

Joe Teichman plays a blend of alt country, folk and Americana. His songs are timeless and lovelorn, at times big enough to reach the cheap seats, at others quiet enough to barely reach the 5th row.
